The story
Riccardo Camanini co-founded Lido 84 with his brother Giancarlo in Gardone Riviera, on the western shore of Lake Garda. Named in homage to Gualtiero Marchesi and Raymond Roussel, the restaurant has become one of Italy's most celebrated dining destinations under Riccardo's culinary leadership. His cooking vision allies the most exquisite lake and land traditions, creating dishes that reflect the unique terroir of Garda. Lido 84 has been recognized among the world's best restaurants, debuting at No. 7 on Asia's 50 Best Restaurants list and consistently ranked among Italy's top tables. Riccardo was awarded the Cuoco dell'Anno (Chef of the Year) prize. Lido 84 closed on March 22, 2026 after 11 years of operation.
