Karen Serfaty and Felipe Abello looked at the AI agent boom and asked the question nobody else was asking: "Cool, the agent can write your emails and book your flights, but can it actually BUY anything?" The answer was no. So they built Agentcard—the first debit card for AI agents, powered by Stripe Issuing, and it changes everything.

Agentcard gives your AI agent its own virtual card with real spending limits and real-time purchase tracking. Your agent can now autonomously buy things across the internet: OpenAI API credits before they burn through your balance, that Vercel Pro plan renewal right before it lapses, 48 rolls of toilet paper on Amazon because you said stock up, Mom's $50 on Cash App because you never call, 2 Kendrick floor seats on Ticketmaster, a treehouse in Tulum on Airbnb—the list is ridiculous and that's the point. It works as an MCP server with Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, and 40+ other agents. Right now it's in private beta.

Here's what nobody's talking about: every single AI agent startup is building something that "helps you do X." But none of them can actually spend money.
