BAREMAIL ʕ·ᴥ·ʔ

email's bare necessities

Our Take

BAREMAIL is honestly the most obvious product concept I've seen dropped on Product Hunt in weeks — if you've ever tried checking email on conference wifi or from a coffee shop with one bar, you know Gmail's web interface literally gangs up on you. This is a lean, no-frills client that cuts the bloat and just gets your mail loading, which is the kind of utility that's less exciting and more just... actually useful. The bear emoji is cute but the real flex is solving a problem everyone complain about and nobody builds for.

A minimalist Gmail client built for spotty connections that gets email through in kilobytes

Gmail's multi-megabyte web interface refuses to load on airplane wifi, rural networks, and developing regions with slow or unreliable connections
