Our Take
Kumar Neeraj, Satyam Ramani, Sunishq B, and Bhuwan Mahato looked at the creator economy and saw a problem: every platform takes a cut. Shopify takes 2%, Gumroad takes 10%, Patreon takes up to 12%—and that's before processing fees. So they built CAPES.APP, an e-store for creators with 0% platform fee. Zero. As in nothing. You sell something, you keep every single dollar.
The creator economy is worth over $100 billion and growing, but creators are getting squeezed from every direction. CAPES.APP says forget that noise—if you're selling digital products, courses, downloads, or merch, you shouldn't have to give a platform a cut just to use their checkout page. They're taking the middleman out of the equation entirely. The product just launched on Product Hunt and these four founders are betting that creators are ready to vote with their wallets.
Is 0% platform fee sustainable? Probably not forever—but right now it's the sharpest hook in the creator tools space and it's got everyone's attention. The real question is what happens when they figure out their monetization model. Until then, creators should probably check this out before it changes its mind.
