Claude Code Desktop App Redesigned
Run parallel coding agents from one desktop workspace
Our Take
This is exactly what developers running Claude Code at scale needed. The old desktop app was basically a slightly smarter terminal — fine for one-off prompts, useless when you're orchestrating refactors across three repos at once. The new session sidebar with auto-archive on PR close, the side chat that doesn't interrupt your flow, the drag-and-drop layout — it actually feels built for how real developers work, not how Anthropic thinks developers should work. Only catch is the paywall: you need Pro or above, so it's not for the hobbyists.
Claude Code's desktop app is redesigned for parallel agentic coding. Run sessions across multiple repos, review diffs, edit files, and ship without leaving the app.
