Our Take

Apoorv Darshan built Crossposter because he got tired of clicking through 15 different dashboards to post the same launch update. Now you run one command in your terminal and it becomes your private publishing console—no cloud accounts, no subscriptions, no third parties touching your credentials. Just you, your localhost, and 15 social platforms wired in: X, LinkedIn, Bluesky, Mastodon, Instagram, YouTube, Dev.to, Pinterest, and Peerlist.

Crossposter works like a local IDE for social media. You compose once, attach your media once, and it checks each platform's limits before you hit send—no more truncated tweets or failed Instagram uploads. Failed posts and successful links stay in your local history. Scheduled posts run from your own machine. The whole thing is MIT-licensed open source, costs zero dollars, and puts the publishing workflow back where it belongs: on your computer, not in some SaaS dashboard you're paying $99/month to access.
