Our Take
RC Yang and Paul Boychenko looked at the data tools everyone was building—dashboards, BI platforms, prompt-based analytics—and said "what if regular people could just get insights without writing a single prompt?" So they built DataKid AI, where you dump data and it just... tells you what's going on. Noqueries, no prompts, no "how do I ask the right question" bullsh*t. You upload, you get insights.
The tagline says it all: "Data in. Deep insights out. Prompt not needed." That's the promise. They've got something on Product Hunt and they're launching at datakid.org. Not sure if they'reYC, bootstrapped, or what—and honestly, at this stage, it doesn't matter. What matters is whether solving "everyone can't use data" is actually a problem worth solving. Spoiler: it is. Every company's drowning in data and using 1% of it. If DataKid actually delivers on "no prompt required," they just made analytics accessible to the other 99% of people who aren't SQL wizards.
