YC P26 just backed two serious builders applying AI agents to biopharma R&D — Rayan Mubarak (neuroscience researcher, first-author at SOT and ISCB) and Maadhav Deekshitha (ex-Dell AI Lab, ex-Broadcom) raised $650K pre-seed to attack drug discovery workflows. It's a niche so specific most AI founders haven't even registered it as a market, which might be exactly the point. Watching to see if AI agents can actually move the needle in biologics timelines or if this stays another "AI for X" pitch.
