Firecrawl just dropped a CLI for AI agents, which sounds like they're betting hard on the idea that every agent needs its own web scraper. The "complete toolkit" claim is bold — I've seen enough half-baked scrapers to be skeptical until someone proves otherwise — but Firecrawl's been actually shipping in this space for a minute, so they at least have real credibility here. The CLI move makes sense: devs want pipelines, not clickable UIs. That said, I need to see what it actually extracts before I can say if this is a necessity or just more noise in the AI tooling pile.
