Magic Lane is calling itself "sovereign navigation infrastructure for Europe," which is honestly doing a lot of heavy lifting — that framing screams EU strategic autonomy play, the kind of quiet beta that's been gaining serious traction since everyone started caring about dependency on American GPS. I don't have enough here to know if it's a Galileo-native play or something building alternative PNT [Positioning, Navigation, and Timing] layers for critical infrastructure, but the positioning alone tells me this is aimed at defense-adjacent and government-adjacent buyers, not your average consumer mapping app. Real ones in the EU autonomy space are going to be watching this one.
