Our Take
Okay so imagine if your AI agent could actually understand who you are as a human being instead of just seeing you as a data point. Like, that's literally the entire vibe of Nyne. This father-son duo—Michael and Emad Fanous—basically said "what if AI agents could be less psycho and actually know the context of human life" and then just built it. They're building a people graph by deploying millions of agents across the internet to triangulate your entire digital footprint. LinkedIn, Instagram, Strava, SoundCloud, government records—all of it gets triangulated into one coherent understanding of who you actually are.
Michael's the CEO, UC Berkeley CS grad, used to build ML engineering at CareRev. Emad's his dad and a veteran CTO who literally built his own database systems in the 80s. They're funded by Wischoff Ventures and South Park Commons, with Gil Elbaz—the actual co-founder of Applied Semantics and the OG behind Google AdSense—backing them as an angel. This is the level of pedigree we're talking about.
Michael literally said about working with his dad: "Even if I have to text him at 3 a.m. to finish the launch, I know he'll still love me the next day." Honestly? That's beautiful. That's also business. That's Nyne.
