Paint By JSON is basically lorem ipsum for designers who are tired of fake content—it pulls real API data directly into Figma so your mockups look exactly how they'll behave in production. Built by Kirsten Felbert and Rob McLoughlin, it's the kind of small, weird tool that once you try, you wonder how anyone ever designed without it. Currently in early access with a waitlist, which means either it's onto something or the tooling space is just that desperate for glue code between APIs and design files.
