Proton is the privacy crew out of Switzerland that's been keeping your data under lock and key since 2014 — encrypted email, calendar, cloud storage, the whole suite, and they actually offer a free tier so you don't have to pay to keep your emails out of the wrong hands. Their VPN is solid too, and unlike a lot of "privacy" companies that are really just marketing with extra steps, Proton's actually built their reputation on real end-to-end encryption that not even they can read.
