Our Take
Tasteit is pitching itself as "the food social network to meet people over food" which — look, I've seen this thesis before. Restaurant reservation apps, cooking community features, dinner party matching services — everyone thinks food is the ultimate social glue. And it can be! But without knowing how Tasteit actually builds those connections or what makes it different from just sliding into someone's DMs at a wine bar, I can't tell you if this is the move or just another "we solved a problem nobody had" situation. Someone send me the pitch deck because I'm curious what the mechanic actually is.
