Factory dropped their desktop app with a pitch around being "agent-native," which is doing a lot of heavy lifting when nobody's defining what that actually means versus just shipping AI-assisted coding tools, and honestly that's the whole game in this crowded space. I'm keeping an eye on whether there's actual signal here or just noise, because the Product Hunt launch energy alone won't tell me what makes this different from the ten other dev tools that dropped last month.
