Tomoshibi
A Writing App Where Your Words Fade

Our Take
Tomoshibi is the most unhinged writing app I've seen in a while — your old words literally disappear as you type new ones, so you can't get stuck in that endless rewrite spiral. The dark screen with a tiny breathing flame is giving "candle in a window" energy, and there's no toolbar, no menu, nothing to click except the flame and your own words. Everything auto-saves in the browser and you can revisit old entries later, so it's not even actually losing your work — it's just forcing you to keep moving forward. For anyone who's ever stared at the same paragraph for forty minutes pretending they're editing, this is the intervention.
A minimalist writing app where older lines of text gradually fade from the screen while being automatically saved. Features a dark screen with a small flame that moves when you type.
