Ubuntu 26.04 Resolute Raccoon
Linux for human beings
Our Take
Ubuntu just dropped 26.04 Resolute Raccoon, and honestly this is the most polished LTS drop yet — they're calling it "Linux for human beings" and they're not wrong. The thing about Ubuntu is yes it's the gateway drug to Linux for a reason, but this release actually feels like they listened to complaints about the snap situation and gave us something that just works out of the box without jumping through hoops. If you're setting up a dev environment or running a server and you want the strongest community support and docs backing you up, this is still the move — 4.7 stars doesn't lie.
