Vayy
Choose dating or matrimony and meet verified, compatible matches

Our Take
Vayy is building a dating app with a simple premise: tell them whether you're looking to date around or get married, and they'll set you up accordingly. No guesswork, no mixed signals. They've built verification into the matching process so you're not swiping through catfishes and bots pretending to be someone they're not. Compatible matches means they're doing some kind of compatibility scoring behind the scenes—values, lifestyle, dealbreakers, that kind of thing.
Here's the thing about the dating app space—it's flooded. Everyone and their mother has an app. Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, CMB, Joint, Friday, there's literally hundreds. What makes Vayy different is the dating-or-matrimony split. Most apps force you into the same ambiguous pool whether you want something casual or something that leads to a ring. Vayy said "nah, let's separate those two intents entirely" so you're only shown people who want the same thing you want. That's actually smart. Less wasted time, less awkward conversations, less heartbreak.
It's still early—BetaList launch early—so traction and metrics aren't public yet. Worth watching if they can nail the verification piece, because that's usually the biggest complaint in this space.
