Waypoint-1.5 just made something that usually requires an A100 cluster actually runnable on consumer hardware — they're hitting 720p at 60fps on the GPU you probably have sitting in your desk setup. That's either a massive democratization or a massive compromise on quality, and the honest answer is probably somewhere in between. Either way, the fact that someone is trying to bring world models down to everyday hardware is a signal worth tracking in 2025.
