Aura

Semantic version control for AI coding agents on top of Git

Aura

Our Take

Kimberly Ross, Letian Wang, Shrujal Mandawkar, Kirolus Ghattas, and Mo Ashique Kuthini looked at the mess that is AI agent version control and said "we can fix this." They built Aura—semantic version control for AI coding agents, sitting right on top of Git. Because when you have autonomous agents writing code, diffs and commits aren't enough anymore—you need to understand the meaning behind the changes, not just the line-by-line noise. That's the "semantic" part.

This is a Product Hunt launch, so the numbers aren't public yet, but the problem they're solving is real. AI coding agents are exploding—Cursor, Devin, Aider, you name it—but there's no good way to track what they're actually doing to your codebase over time. Aura gets that. They're building version control for the agent era, not the human era. Keep an eye on this one.
