Thitid 'Ton' Tassanakajohn

Thitid 'Ton' Tassanakajohn is a Thai chef and restaurateur based in Bangkok. He studied economics at Chulalongkorn University before pursuing a culinary career, later attending the Culinary Institute of America in New York and training at restaurants including Jean-Georges and Eleven Madison Park. He founded Le Du in Bangkok in 2013, focused on modern Thai cuisine using seasonal Thai ingredients. In 2023, Le Du became the first restaurant led by a Thai chef to be ranked No. 1 on Asia's 50 Best Restaurants list, while his other restaurant Nusara ranked No. 3 the same year. He also owns Baan and other concepts in Bangkok.
